KarouselRotary / Drive
Karousel puts a spinning rotary speaker on your board. Slow, vibey pulse or fast shimmer, with the push and pull of real air moving past the mics. Tap the footswitch to change speed, hold it to brake the rotor to a stop, and add drive when you want the motor to work.

Left footswitch · Slow / Fast / Brake
Speed is the instrument
One footswitch runs the rotor. Tap it to move between your slow and fast speeds; hold it to brake. Pick a speed here to watch the horn and the sound it throws.
Select
A slow rotor, set anywhere from a deep 0.1 Hz pulse to a lively 4 Hz swirl with the Slow knob. Gentle movement and slow speaker bloom behind whatever you play.

The panel
Six knobs shape the rotor and the cabinet around it; three switches set the ramp, the cabinet voice and where the mics sit.
- Pot 1
- SlowSlow rotor rate, from a 0.1 Hz pulse to a 4 Hz swirl.
- Pot 2
- FastFast rotor rate, 4 Hz to 10 Hz.
- Pot 3
- Drum:HornHow tightly the virtual drum and horn speeds lock together. Higher separates them for a wobblier feel.
- Pot 4
- DrivePost-effect boost or cut. Up amplifies what the rotor is doing, with a little grit.
- Pot 5
- IntensityTremolo depth, from subtle movement to full, pulsing amplitude.
- Pot 6
- DepthThe Doppler pitch motion, 0.3 to 0.7 ms. Higher moves the sound toward and away from the mics.
- Switch 1
- AccelerationHow quickly Karousel moves between slow and fast: slow, medium or fast ramp.
- Switch 2
- CabinetVintage (500 Hz), Classic (800 Hz) or Modern (1200 Hz) cabinet voice.
- Switch 3
- Mic PositionFront, rear or both. Front or rear alone gives more pronounced Doppler.
